Man’s Best Friend

“I shared a bed in my parents house with my great-grandfather Lee Harmon. My great-grandfather would allow the wet dog to get into bed with us when it rained. I loved that this dignified man thought the relationship with his great-grandson and his dog was more important than keeping the sheets dry.

Lee Harmon would tell me stories about life in the mid to late 1800’s and about attending school in Oxford at The University of Mississippi.”
